This video of M. Ward performing on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson really captures his nostalgic, nonchalant style, in that he always appears to be performing right off the cuff, but the result is invariably tight and lush. Backed by multiple guitarists, two (!) drummers, singers, and another keyboard besides his own, Ward allows no time for Craig Ferguson to say something clever and Scottish before launching straight into a rendition of “To Save Me,” from his (quite excellent) new album, Hold Time.
