Yes, mashups are everywhere, and most of them aren’t very good. They try to pack too many songs in and totally lose the thread, or the mixer is too much of an amateur to impress anyone. But this one, by a dude called Faroff, is actually pretty great. It combines the Beatles‘ “Get Back,” LCD Soundsystem’s “Daft Punk Is Playing at My House” and—briefly—the Kinks‘ “You Really Got Me.” The result is a short track with miles of backbeat. The video is cool, but the song itself is amazing. Don’t even try to keep it from getting stuck in your head.
