Nightmare Of You Replace Drummer, Add Shows

Posted on February 28, 2008

noy.jpgNew York's Nightmare Of You posted a MySpace message yesterday announcing that drummer Sam Siegler was leaving the band. Fans need not worry, as this was no coup d'etat, and there are no ill feelings on the departure. The four-piece, who recently split from their label and released a pretty fantastic EP on their own, will replace Siegler with Permanent Me's drummer Mike Fleischmann. The band also updates us on their future plans:

We are all very excited to be getting back on the road in just a few short days now. Your feedback in regards to these 8 shows has been incredible and I guess I should take this opportunity to let you know that your comments and requests have not fallen on deaf ears. We are currently in the process of organizing a full US tour. This will take place this spring and we will travel out to the west coast and back. Please keep in mind we can't go to EVERY city but we will be playing a lot of shows and hopefully you can find one close enough to you. More details on that to come shortly but for now please continue to spread the word about the upcoming shows and we look forward to seeing you in the coming weeks!

Catch Nightmare of You in Long Island on March 13, or any of the other dates listed on their MySpace. While you are there, listen to "You're Very Dear To Me." It's one of my favs.
