Here's what's cookin' tonight. GBH will be hosting their new Friday party Robot Rock at Le Royale in TriBeCa. Local synth group Blonde Acid Cult headline the night with their upbeat party rock. DJs Eamon Harkin and Rok One spin before and after the set. Show starts at 8, $10.
Up in Chelsea, Mexican electronica quintet Kinky bring their unique blend of dance and folk to Highline Ballroom. Spanish ska punks The Ladrones open at 9 PM. Tickets are $20.
If you're looking for something more relaxed, Bowery Ballroom hosts Annie Clark's solo songwriter project, St. Vincent. Deep-voiced folk rockers Foreign Born open at 9 -- I'm lovin' their tune "Union Hall." Tickets are $15.
