Marilyn Manson's expensive tastes get him in trouble

Posted on August 02, 2007

marilynmanson.jpgStephen "Pogo" Bier, the former keyboardist from Marilyn Manson's band, is suing the shock rocker for squandering group money on expensive and unnecessary items. According to legal papers, Bier claims that Manson has been spending money on "sick and disturbing purchases of Nazi memorabilia and taxidermy (including the skeleton of a young Chinese girl)." In addition to these weird purchases, Manson also splurged on a multi-million dollar mansion, and a first class wedding for his now former wife, Dita Von Teese. Bier's lawyer claims that Manson promised the keyboardist "partnership proceeds" back in 1993, and later devised a plan to drive the keyboardist out of the band.

Until this story gets stale, Marilyn Manson will be under heavy scrutiny. If there is some PETA-like organization for young Chinese girls, the rockstar may have to expand his legal team.

Manson is currently on tour with Slayer. Dates are on his myspace page.
