With legions of fans eagerly awaiting the release of Third, Portishead's first album in ten years, the British trio has graced the web with a generous sneak preview. Current has posted a video of the band playing in (where else?) Portishead, England, in a performance that includes seven songs from the new full-length. All in all, the new stuff looks promising, if a bit more challenging than the trip-hop they're known for.

For those of you not counting down the days, Third is set to drop April 29, via Mercury/Island.
