After The Jump announces summer festival

Posted on April 21, 2008

beford.jpgSummer in the city means a handful of things to me: rooftop barbecues, outdoor concerts, girls sunbathing in the park while I stare -- all things I look forward to throughout fall, winter and spring. Concerts will be aplenty this summer, as McCarren Pool and South Street Seaport continue their weekly outdoor shows, bringing a handful of up and comers to the stage. Adding to this summer's options is a free festival on June 21st, thrown by the After the Jump blog collective (established by the folks at The Music Slut). The full day festival will bring music fans to Brooklyn's 6th Street as bands perform inside and outside of Music Hall of Williamsburg and Galapagos. The full lineup has yet to be announced, but a partial list is available under the cut.
