Singer-songwriter Josh Rouse releases his new album City Mouse City House today. Normally I don't get too excited about his releases, but judging by the tracks posted on his MySpace page, this one is pretty good. One track to look out for is the album-opening "Sweetie". I'm a well known sucker for the pedal steel and he puts it to good use here - sneaking in during the chorus to add that lilting underline.
