The Head Set, an unknown favorite of mine, will be opening tonight's Mercury Lounge show. This four piece from Brooklyn creates well structured, powerful pop songs. Classic rock inspired The London Souls will be headlining the show. Tickets will run you ten beans.

If you're in the mood for some old school punk, head down to Pianos where The Moon Rabbits will be shredding in their '70's punk style. Get there early (11 PM) to see LWMB writer Jens Carstensen rock out with his own punk group, Career Club. Tickets are $8.
