Admit it: you've sung Fugazi's "Waiting Room" into a hair brush more times than you can count. I know I have. Well, here's your chance to sing the band's songs into a real microphone! The band has given permission to Christina Da Costa, Jeffry Opdyke, Michael Sowiski, and Phil Rosenbloom to launch The Fugazi Covers Project. They're currently soliciting artists to cover Fugazi songs for a compilation that will raise money for their participation in Braking the Cycle, a 275-mile bike ride that benefits the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center of New York's HIV/AIDS programs.

You don't have to be a big name to get your song on the comp, but you do have to claim your track ASAP. The current track list is under the cut.
