Video: Man Plays Tree

I’ve seen a lot of badass, experimental things in my time; quarter-inch cables run through effects loops, the theremin in action, bands playing mic’ed-up coils with tattered drumsticks. However, this video might just take the cake.
Without ruining the magic, the title of this post should give you a clear idea of what lies in the video below. However, for those who dig spoilers, here’s the rub: a man by the name of Diego Stocco, without using synthesizers or samplers, has recorded a rather gripping piece of music using a tree in his garden. The tracks were recorded and arranged using Protools, and the results are most enjoyable. See for yourself, and click here to read more about the project.
