Next Tuesday, Kentucky's electro-dance outfit VHS or Beta will release their third album, Bring on the Comets on Astralwerks Records. For those of you counting down the days, the band is streaming the full album on their myspace page.

The album boasts a line up of catchy synth-based instant hits, showing musical maturity in the three years since their last release Night on Fire. Despite using computer generated sound for many of the beats, the band integrates traditional instrumentals throughout the album, giving it an authentic vibe.

The band documented the recording process behind Bring on the Comets, and is releasing it as a five-part series on YouTube. Check out the first three: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3

VHS or Beta will kick off a 28-date tour on the day of the album's release. Their schedule is under the cut.
