What You're Doing Tonight - 5/29/08

Posted on May 29, 2008

thekin.jpgThe Submarines @ Union Hall: Seems like everyone in this office has been playing their latest shoegaze-infused folk album Honeysuckle Weeks on repeat, so you'll likely see some Lime folk rocking out in the front.

Slick Rick @ Europa: The hip hop legend returns to his roots tonight with a show in Brooklyn tonight. Punk group Murphy's Law opens.

The Kin @ Bowery Ballroom: The Kin was one of the first band's I saw when I moved to NY -- same band, same venue. Let's see how they sound three years later. Alt-rockers Army of Me open.

The Carrots @ Cake Shop: An all female hipster doo wop band? Hard to say no to that. Grab some carrot cake afterwards to get the full effect.

Sheryl Crow @ Rumsey Playfield: Will I admit that I secretly want to see this show? Nope.
