What You're Doing Tonight - 6/2/08

Posted on June 02, 2008

whatmademilwaukeefamous.jpgRilo Kiley @ Terminal 5: In the mood for some mainstream "indie rock?" Jenny Lewis and her boys kick off the first of two concerts at the massive venue.

Jerry Seinfeld @ WAMU Theater: What's the deal with peanuts? The comic returns to the stage tonight to support Stand Up For a Cure, a charity that funds cancer research. Kevin Bacon's band, The Bacon Brothers also performs.

Hotel Hotel @ Cake Shop: This experimental collective leaves a haunting trail of psychedelic riffs and progressions in its path. This show should be a creepy experience.

What Made Milwaukee Famous @ Mercury Lounge: If these guys were around in the '90s, they would have blown all those alt-rock bands away. If you're stuck in that decade like me, do not miss this show.

The Black Lips @ Maxwells: After a series of opening spots with The Raconteurs, surf rockers The Black Lips are the main attraction tonight at the Jersey venue.
