A bunch of us Lime Wire folk caught M83 at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Tuesday night, the first of two sold out NYC shows this week. Prior to the set, I had never heard the Parisian electronica space rockers, so I was quite surprised by how big a crowd they drew. Within moments, we were swept away by the harmonious mix of subdued electro-beats and lush traditional instrumentals.
