NIN just loves giving away music, don't they...

Posted on June 05, 2008

trent.jpgNine Inch Nails front-man Trent Reznor has been an industrial rock Santa Claus this year, providing free digital music for all the little boys and girls. Within months, he has been responsible for three free albums: two from NIN, and one from hip hop poet Saul Williams.

Thankfully, Reznor's still in the giving mood. Earlier this week, he released a free sampler EP that includes songs from all the bands supporting NIN this summer on the Lights in the Sky tour. That includes A Place to Bury Strangers, Does it Offend you, Yeah?, Crystal Castles, and Deerhunter. Quite a stellar lineup. The EP also includes "Echoplex," a new track from Reznor. To download the sampler, head over to the official NIN web site, enter your info, and wait for a confirmation email. That'll have a link to your free download.

I cant wait to see Trent at voodoo in New Orleans. its always great to see people play their home towns. NIN always puts on a great show, but its a completely different level when its in New Orleans. Check out these videos of past NIN voodoo performances. http://www.thetenthritual.com/?content=video
