It’s official: Rod Stewart is still sexy, forever young and now off the singles market. Please don’t shoot the messenger, ladies. On Saturday the multi-platinum, multi-married ‘60s British rocker/’00s balladeer (again) married a woman nearly half his age. Stewart, 62, took model Penny Lancaster, 36, to be his lawfully wedded wife at sunset in a cloistered medieval abbey at La Cervara near Portofino in Northern Italy.

According to Stewart’s publicist, the couple, who have a 19-month son, exchanged vows before 100 family and friends. Lancaster, who’s been Stewart’s girlfriend for nine years, said “I Do” wearing a tight, white see-thru satin dress. Sir Mick Jagger and Sir Elton John did not attend the low-key affair. Instead, Michael Bolton and his girlfriend/Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan were asked to play the role of way less cooler celebrity guests.

A reception attended by five of Stewart’s children from his previous marriages to models Alana Hamilton and Rachel Hunter followed overlooking the coast of Santa Margherita. The newlyweds sailed off on a Mediterranean holiday aboard Stewart's luxury yacht, The Lady Ann Magee, which the crooner rents out for $227,204 a week when he’s not getting married.

Stewart is reported to have spent a million bucks on his third wedding day, which will be easily recouped by way four, weeklong rentals on his yacht. Any takers out there?
