Iron Maiden Takes On Camden

Kids are always looking for new, fresh ways to put their lives in danger, and what better way than paying a visit to the fifth most dangerous city in the country? Iron Maiden are doing it. In the middle of their "Somewhere Back In Time World Tour," the metal-heroes and mullet-magnets will be stopping off at Camden's Susquehanna Bank Centre tonight. The tour boasts several giant Eddies (the band's hilarious and much-loved mascot), Egyptian mummies, and the dubious distinction of being the largest Nordic metal tour ever (a region that certainly needs more metal.) Bruce Dickinson and company have been dragging out a lot of dusty, classic material, including the thirteen minute "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner" from their 1984 fan-favorite Powerslave. Metalheads from across the East Coast will undoubtedly be flocking to risk their lives tonight for the band's penultimate US date. Check out this clip from their Melbourne show earlier this February.
