At the 2003 Warped Tour in i think Mansfield, Mass or something, Twiztid was playing their set and these retards in the crowd for some reason didnt want em there cause i guess Warped Tour is for "punks only", well the kids in the crowd were throwing bottles filled with rocks and Jamie Madrox got pissed and jumped from the stage and beat one of the kids down against a fence and shit maaaaaaaad funny!

The best rock star attack I've ever seen was in the documentary DIG! when Antone Newcombe from the Brian Jonestown Massacre drop kicks a guy in the face, that should definitely be on this list

i can't give the link at the moment (at work), but when jack white yelled at some kid during a white stripes show was pretty entertaining. i've seen it online as "jack white vs. a moron" or something like that.
They forgot when Pete Townsend clubbed a chick with his guitar at Woodstock '69 when she climbed on stage. Classic.

I was at Cains in Mission Beach San Diego about 3-4 years ago and saw Mike Ness of SOCIAL DISTORTION knock this ass hole out who was spitting and throwing shit and heckling the whole show. It was awesome! No footage exists that I know of, however I have a vivid memory. It was sweet.
josh homme had this other one where a fan ran on the stage. josh turned around and just pushed him off yelling, "this is my f***ing stage" funny but looked as if it would've hurt

I was at that Axle Rose show. It was early 90's in St. Louis at the Riverport (nicknamed Riotport) Amphitheater, now the Verizon wireless amphitheater. It was a fuckin' mad house. Metallica was good though..
Ok I really don't see how Brendon Urie's should be on here because he didn't "attack". He was hit in the head with a bottle and knocked out. Then he just got up and kept playing the show with a huge bruise on his face.

Here's an idea for you, limewire staff: include a description of the circumstances behind each one of these clips. It would make this a much more interesting post, especially since you can't tell what is going on in half of these clips.

I go to a lot of Oi and hardcore shows. I can remember dozens of times where the bands have gotten into it with the audience members, and several where it broke down into a full blown indoor riot.

primus @ rothbury last week stopped playing after les claypool got fed up with glowsticks and other shit being thrwon at him. he played for more than 2hours but stopped suddenly after almost being thrown with a big object. he said sth like "if're about to throw anything towards me have a courtesy to frist lick it and shove it up your ass!"
