Posted on July 26, 2007

sexpistols.jpgVirgin Records will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of the Sex Pistols’ seminal debut Never Mind the Bollocks…Here’s the Sex Pistols by reissuing the band’s most infamous album on October 29—the exact anniversary of its release date. The limited edition will appear in heavyweight vinyl format and will contain a seven-inch of “Submission” and a poster.

Virgin will also re-issue four classic singles in original format: “Anarchy in the U.K.” (B-side: “I Wanna Be Me”) on Oct. 1; “God Save the Queen” (B-side: “Did You No Wrong”) on Oct 8; “Pretty Vacant” (B-side: “No Fun”) on Oct. 15; and “Holidays in the Sun” (B-side: “Satellite”) on Oct. 22.

Let’s all pitch in and buy it so John Lydon can stop embarrassing himself on a certain battle of the bands TV show.
