Love As Laughter on Me + You

Freeform Brooklyn radio station Viva Radio has certainly earned bragging rights for their new compilation, The Best of Me + You Vol. 1. Named for the station’s signature show, hosted by DJ Tedward, this puppy is packed with 30+ interviews and songs from Jay Reatard, Black Lips, King Khan, Sebastien Tellier, The Homosexuals, The Fiery Furnaces, party animal Andrew W.K. and scads more. Think of it as the Daytrotter sessions with an extra dose of wild ‘n’ crazy.

These interviews and live tracks were collected over the years from 2007 through 2009, and come accompanied by a 32-page ‘zine depicting all the studio shenanigans. Totes crazy, brah: this sucker is only $5.00. Best reason to buy a CD I’ve heard all month? You bet.
