Last night LimeWire Store hosted the 2009 CMJ media mixer event. Journalists from all over the world descended upon our office for a few hours of early-evening schmoozing, food and brew provided by the fine folks at Brooklyn Brewery. And there was plenty of awesome music too. Sean Marquand and Patrick “Woody” Wood from The Phenomenal Handclap Band, Jon Spencer, and Margaret Cho with John Roberts all spun incredible DJ sets as journos hob-knobbed, blogged, tweeted and mingled. Our favorite tweet of the night? “MetromixNewYork At Limewire HQ for #cmj. Their offices are nicer than ours. Jealous.”
