Lil Wayne’s Young Money Camp Readies Debut Album

Despite his recent troubles with the law, Lil Wayne knows better than anybody that the show must, and does indeed, go on. After giving the world their first taste of how deep his crew is, bringing all of his artists on this summer’s America’s Most Wanted tour, Wayne’s tutelage has finally paid off as his pupils are ready to graduate into the limelight. The Cash Money Millionaire and Young Money head honcho is gearing up to officially unleash his hand picked crew on the world with the release of the label’s first compilation effort, We Are Young Money.

According to Rap-Up, the disc is set to drop on December 15th, the same day that Wayne is looking to release his rock-infused project Rebirth. The Young Money LP will feature appearances from the entire YM roster including Wayne himself, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine, Shanell, Tyga and production by super beat bullies, Tha Bizness. The album’s lead single, “Every Girl,” was released earlier in the year to a nice amount of radio and video play and will be followed up by the single “Bed Rock” featuring former Murder Inc. crooner Lloyd.

So, when these guys get to say Sugar Hill Gang status, will the label change it’s name to Old Money ? Hmmm, just wondering.
