German electronica wünder-duo Modeselektor are prepping their sophomore full-length, Happy Birthday, for release, and they’ve recruited Thom Yorke and members of Maximo Park for guest spots, Billboard.com reports. "Watch out, it won't be a quiet one," the DJs/remixers wrote in a post on their website, referring to the music featured on the 17-track album on which Yorke lends his vocals ("The White Flash") and spunky Brits Maximo Park make an appearance ("I Can't Sleep (Without Music)"). The follow-up to 2005's Hello Mom! also features contributions from Berlin electro-rappers Puppetmastaz, Miami DJ/producer Otto von Schirach, and French hip-hop trio TTC. Happy Birthday will be ready to party loudly when it drops Sept. 11 via BPitch Control.
