Gonzo garage punk Jay Reatard sure is busy. Setting off on a short US tour this week, the notably rambunctious revivalist will stop off at Johnny Brenda's in Philly tonight before heading off for a show with Spoon in Prospect Park tomorrow and the Pitchfork fest next weekend in Chicago. What does Jay do to prep for tour? Apparently gets drunk off German beer, eats sushi, and blogs.

Meanwhile, the fourth installment in Reatard's six exclusive Matador albums will be released next week, a split with Deerhunter. Reatard covers the Atlanta quintet's "Flourescent Grey," while they in turn take a stab at his own "Oh, Its Such A Shame" (which is already available here.)
