Well, kinda. According to HipHopDX, legendary ’80s hip-hoppers and avid snackers, The Fat Boys, are launching a new line of Fat Boys T-shirts that won’t just be for the big-boned crowd, but for the big-boned at heart as well.

“This marks a milestone in our comeback and the fruition of our ‘labor of love’,” says Uncle Louie, the group’s manager. The gear will be distributed nationally in chains like Urban Outfitters and Hot Topic and will be arriving in stores just in time for you to drop one of the joints as a stocking stuffer for your favorite somebody. Prince Markie Dee, one of the founding members of the crew and a popular radio DJ in the Sunshine state, gave his co-sign of the new line as well.

“With our clothing line hitting Hot Topics and Urban Outfitters just in time for the holidays, we’re real excited to be back and of course, this merchandise line in old school sexy! It’s an exciting time for us, for Uncle Louie and for OriginalFatBoys.com,” he said.

The trio is also looking for fresh ideas and input from fans about upcoming designs that will be featured in the line. Having created a page through MerchDriect.com, the Boys are asking fans to chime in and help them narrow down which designs will make it and which will be left on the cutting room floor. In exchange, fans will have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes including Apple’s iTouch, free shirts, iPods, Virgin Mobile phones and even pizza!

“These shirts are tight! And I don’t mean tight ’cause we fat, this joint is off the hook. We got the original shirts from our world tours in the ’80s and some fresh new styles. We got so many styles we need help picking which ones to go with,” said member Kool Rock Ski. With plans for upcoming shows at the Fox Theater in NYC and a Fat Boys Weekend slated for sometime next year, these dudes are making moves.
