Video: Moby – “One Time We Lived”

little idiotIt’s been ten years since Moby attained multi-platinum success with Play, his wildly successful fifth album that spawned ubiquitous hits “Porcelain,” “South Side” and “Natural Blues.” The struggling DJ/producer who answered phones at Instinct Records in the early ’90s has indeed come a long way, yet he has remained true to his ideals.

In June the Bald One issued his ninth studio album, Wait For Me, a sparsely produced DIY album inspired by a talk given by famed director David Lynch at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Lynch later created an animated video for lead track “Shot in the Back of the Head,” which was quite a sight for sore eyes. Moby, who will release the deluxe edition of Wait For Me on November 24th, returns with another animated video for “One Time We Lived” directed by Robert Powers. Check out the clip below and grab Matrix & Futurebound’s smokin’ drum ‘n’ bass re-rub on Moby’s site.
