As kids, we all loved Magaret Wise Brown’s classic picture book Goodnight Moon. And who out there isn’t a Who fan? Drawing on the combined appeal of both these cultural gems, Bruce Worden and Claire Cross give us Goodnight Keith Moon. In the video below, we say goodnight to “dead Keith Moon,” “Townshend jumping over the moon,” the ghost of Mama Cass and a pile of vomit. There is even an illustration in which falling snow is replaced by white pills raining from the sky. Unfortunately, we don’t know much more about the project, since GoodnightKeithMoon.com has exceeded its bandwidth. But here’s hoping, considering the fuzzy video quality, there is actually a real book out there somewhere that will please everyone from parents sick of reading Goodnight Moon to Who fans with a good sense of humor.
