Buckshot Looks Back on 2009

buckshotThe end of the year is upon us, so we’re asking artists to look back on the year. New York City-based MC/Duck Down Records mogul Buckshot checks in and tells us how he fared in 2009.

How will you look back on 2009?

A successful year filled with new ventures and exciting material.

Highlights?

Having the opportunity to work with KRS-ONE, who from the beginning of my rap career taught me so much about how to be a true MC. Our latest album, Survival Skills, is something I’ll hold to the highest regard.

Lowlights?

Not getting a tour organized for KRS-ONE and myself. I really wish we could have taken that Survival Skills album on the road

2009: Good year? Great year? The greatest year ever?

Great year.
