New Michael Jackson Track “Another Day” Leaks
It seems like everybody is trying to get a piece of the King Of Pop these days. LWMB recently reported that famed film director Spike Lee directed a posthumous music video for Mike and now another supposedly new MJ song is coming to light.
According to Rolling Stone, a new track called “Another Day” made its way to the Internet over the weekend, but only a snippet. The track is supposed to be Mike’s version of the Lenny Kravitz (featuring Jay-Z) song “Storm” from Kravitz’s 2004 album Baptism. The track is reportedly a duet between Mr. Moonwalker and Mr. Lisa Bonet, but Kravitz is not heard on the track. (In all fairness, the snippet is only a minute and some change so the song could still indeed be a collaboration between the two.)
Kravitz did in fact write to Spinner raving about a new joint that he and MJ did together so this may be official: “I got to work with Michael on a track that has not been released and it was the most amazing experience I’ve had in the studio. He was funny. Very funny and we laughed the whole time.”
This may just be the tip of the iceberg: Jackson apparently left behind scores of music, many being collaborations with very well known artists, that is still virgin to most fans’ ears. Lets hope that somebody dusts those tracks off and puts them out for the world to hear. We miss you, Mike! Oh, and check the snippet below.
