Though they haven’t had very much commercial success on these shores, Ireland’s The Thrills has established quite a fan base in the UK. They make the sort of infectious, jangly rock that tugs at your heart, makes you want to bust out your acoustic guitar and sing til you lose your voice. Singer Conor Deasy's voice is the bedrock of the band’s aching songs about love and loss; based on his somber lyrics, you wonder if this guy ever gets any. After releasing two critically acclaimed albums—2003's So Much For The City and 2004's Let's Bottle Bohemia—the five-piece will unveil Teenagers on October 23rd. Not only does Teenagers pack 11 pretty terrific songs, it also boasts one of the best album covers we’ve seen in a while. Thoughts?
