Polaroids from The King Kahn and BBQ Show w/ Vivian Girls
The King Kahn and BBQ Show headlined last night's show at the Bowery Ballroom in glorious costume before heading to Ontario today. Also gracing the stage were Brooklyn's own girl-groupish shoe-gaze phenom, Vivian Girls, who will be touring the UK this month and are not to be missed! Opening the show were legendary local garage outfit, The A-Bones. You may not know, but the singer and drummer are Billy and Miriam, the notorious husband/wife owners of Norton Records. They laid down the 60's, surf, and garage tunes like only true veterans can, and it certainly set the tone for the evening.
Now, if it were any other show, I would have been there with my usual gear, a Digital SLR with big flashes and batteries. Instead, I decided to make it a special occasion and bust out the old polaroid. So after the jump, take a look at some choice photos of last night's performers, taken with my trusty, old-school Polaroid NPC 195 camera.

Has anyone told Styles he looks just like Buck Dharma from Blue Oyster Cult with that mustache?
