Tonight, Swedish indie sensation Peter Bjorn and John take over the city with two separate appearances. First, they will bring their whistling pop to Roseland Ballroom, where British pop-rockers The Clientele will open. Doors open at 7 PM, and tickets are $27. Afterwards, the Swedes will be putting on a DJ set at Hiro Ballroom (around midnight). Entry is free if you RSVP.

If you're over the hype, head down to Mercury Lounge where edgy songwriter Jesse Malin will perform songs from his latest album, Glitter in the Gutter. Malin goes on at 10 PM, and tickets are $12.
