CMJ: Centipede E'est Interview

Posted on October 17, 2007

Last night was CMJ's kick-off evening and I managed to catch up with one of my favorite bands playing the showcase, Centipede E'est, after their set at Fat Baby.

Pictures and some commentary after the jump...

One thing that the band forgot to mention is that they finished off their set with an epic, Sabbath-esque breakdown - which was actually a re-worked version of a Sudanese national anthem. This is a band that has many and varied influences, but plays hard and does not shy away from rocking out.

Best band at CMJ. Best beard at CMJ. Best missing tooth at CMJ. That is all.
