What You're Doing Tonight - 10/30/07

dandeaconskull.jpg copyGetting ready for tomorrow? Psych yourself up tonight with some pre-Halloween hijinx. Hip hop duo Chromeo and sound wizard Dan Deacon will be co-headlining at Judson Church (south side of Washington Square Park). The event is being thrown by New York Magazine, and will include an open bar for all you alcoholics. Costumes are suggested, so get creative. The show will be a difficult one to get into, but if you manage your way to the front door, tickets will run you $25.

If you can't get in, head over to Cake Shop. The Forms, who rocked our faces off during CMJ, will be celebrating the release of their new record by putting on a show under the Lower East Side bakery. No official time was announced, but I'll guess they go on at 9:30?

Before or after said shows, get into the Halloween spirit, and visit the biggest Haunted House in NYC. Nightmare, which is located on the corner of Suffolk and Rivington, has 21 rooms designed to scare the crap out of you. The house is open from 6 pm - 10 pm, and tickets are $25.
