Imagine three girls (guy drummer) who bang on pots, pans and tea kettles, switch instruments from recorder, bass, guitar and keyboards, and play with a troupe of male dancers. They are all the best parts of the B-52's meets underground electro rock. This past weekend, they dressed up like Owls, and their dance troupe were a half dozen mystical wizards with break-away robes, leaving long white beards and spandex covering their you-know-whats. Fur Cups For Teeth actually always play in costume, not just around halloween-time. Below are some photos from their CD Release party at Asterisk in Bushwick.
