MTVu Woodies streaming online

Posted on November 16, 2007

woodies.jpgLast week, Roseland Ballroom hosted the 2007 MTVu Woodies, an award show honoring the best in post-teen music, geared to a college audience. The two hour event was broadcast in its entirety on MTVu, while an abridged version was shown on MTV at an ungodly hour. Quite a tough award show to catch. For those of you who don't get MTVu (I'm guessing anyone who's reading this), the award show is available on MtvU.Com. Although the awards themselves are meaningless, this year included great performances from Lupe Fiasco, Tokyo Police Club, Spank Rock, Rilo Kiley, and The Academy Is. Between TPC's awkward red carpet moments, Pete Wentz's vanity, and Spank Rock's drunken hijinks, the show is worth a watch.
