After their recent feature in Pitchfork, Swedish collective Irene were quickly signed to American label, Twentyseven Records. The eight-twelve piece group use a cheerful blend of brass instruments, pianos, traditional guitars and doo wop vocals to create textured, soulful lounge rock. With such a large entourage, it may be months until they hit North America for a tour. In the mean time, check out their first US single below.
