Happy birthday to you, anticon records! The perennially relevant Bay Area indie label will turn the page on its first decade tonight with a grande fête at the soon-to-be-relocated Knitting Factory, right here in LimeWire’s backyard. I’ll be there to see an all-star lineup of artists from anticon’s roster of prolific, prodigiously gifted MCs, including: Themselves (doesone & Jel), Yoni Wolf of Why?, Buck 65, Sole, Alias, and more.
