Photos from Punk Rock Pillow Fight!

On Monday night, I attended the sixth installment of the Punk Rock Pillow Fight party,  which just moved to Manhattan, specifically the basement of Santos Party House.  Mattresses filled the ring, and each contender had their choice of pillows, some wielding two or three fluffy weapons. There were girl-on-girl, boy-on-boy and co-ed matches, some that were as brutal as a real street fight.  I even participated in the poofy-frustration releasing aggro-pillow fight.  (I lost to last year’s champion, and am very sore today).  In addition to the tournament, there were special musical guests!  Performing for the first time was Rumanian Buck- Aaron Lazar’s (of The Giraffes fame) side project with members of Ribs and The Big Sleep, as well as Goes Cube and Satisfier.  More photos under the cut!
