Here's a young acoustic folk duo with an endearing story to match. The two were high school friends in Florida, but fell out of touch following graduation. One became a cook, the other an actor. Years later, they discovered they lived in the same area of Brooklyn, so they met up, played some music and formed This Is Ivy Leage. The  project is a melodic, gentle barrage of folk-infused acoustic pop. Despite subscribing to a mellow tone, the duo infuses their music with a Caribbean, lounge-inspired energy. Fans of Vampire Weekend will want to check these guys out.
