Ratatat Channels Feminist Video Art

Ratatat’s new video for their song “Shempi” has been passed around the ’sphere for a couple days now and it basically looks like a Dara Birnbaum video.  70s television images of the heavily made-up women (from ABBA?), warped to reveal their utter creepiness and non-sequitor core.
