Video: Guitar Wolf – Jet Generation

As Friend O’ The Blog, Jens mentioned in a comment on My Old Kentucky Blog the other day – rock and roll is a sweaty, dirty, messy business and trying to make it otherwise doesn’t always yeild the best results.  In honor of that sentiment, I present to you Guitar Wolf’s “Jet Generation”.  Guitar Wolf is one of those bands that understands the unpretty aspects of rock.

You ever see “Wild Zero”, their science fiction movie? Must watch stuff. Also, there were few better live bands than Guitar Wolf, or louder. This made my day.

I saw Guitar Wolf live back in the 90s. Amazing live band. The only English words that were discernible were “baby”, “rock and roll”, and “1-2-3-4″. Sometimes, that’s all you really need.

“Wild Zero” is an excellent film. There’s also the related drinking game involving how many times flames shoot out of a guitar or a head explodes.
