Saturday, December 8th, 2007: Here's a great gift idea, play a free show for your friend's birthday, and keep it exclusively to tracks off of your freshly recorded, unreleased album. Mark Ryan (birthday boy of Foreign Islands) had one hell of a party at Soundfix, with Goes Cube joining the celebration and Freshkills treating the crowd to new tracks like "Revelations" and "I Quit Smoking". If the set was any indication, this record will be the best yet for the Brooklyn 5-piece.
