Danger! Danger! High Voltage! - - Detroit synth rockers Electric Six take over Southpaw in Brooklyn tonight with their catchy blend of synth disco and hard rock. Also on the bill is the soulful, classic rock-inspired trio Earl Greyhound. Quite a lineup - - best of all, its free. Get there at 8.
Stuck in NYC? Terminal 5 hosts the Unlimited Sunshine tour, headlined by country-funk fusion Cake. The tour includes five other bands, notably experimental synth quartet Brazilian Girls. Doors open at 6:30, and tickets will cost you $43.
Not in the mood for a concert? I saw Juno last night. I liked it enough for this recommendation, but think it's slightly overrated. Agree/disagree?
