Austin, TX has become synonymous with South by Southwest (SXSW), the annual music conference/festival that blankets the town each spring. But is that a good thing for the local music scene? Do local bands and artists get lost in the circus of showcases, parties, and pop-up stages? We think they probably do, so we’ve set out to make some noise on behalf of the current Austin scene.
